The Alarming Data

According to police records and media reports, between June and December, 145 cases of missing children were registered in Mumbai. What is especially worrying is that more than 60 percent of the missing children are girls.

Even more shocking is the recent surge in cases. 82 children went missing within a span of just 36 days, between November 1 and December 6. This sudden rise indicates a growing and urgent problem that cannot be ignored.

Cases have been reported from several areas of Mumbai, including Kurla Village, Powai, Vakola, Malwani, and Sakinaka. This shows that the issue is widespread and not limited to any one locality.
